What's New? 🚀

Early in December, we began a new series, Pragmatic Testing in AdonisJS with Japa. In this series, you'll be introduced to the Japa testing framework, covering assertions, hooks, and various plugins. You'll learn how to write impactful unit and functional tests for your AdonisJS services, models, events, commands, and endpoints. Browser tests, using Playwright, will be briefly covered as well.

The first 18 lessons of this series are out now, with the remaining 15 already recorded to be released soon.

What's Coming? 🗓️

I’m aiming to wrap up our Pragmatic Testing in AdonisJS with the Japa series by January 16th. After that, I’ll focus on catching up on everything related to AdonisJS 7 and start planning a free Let’s Learn AdonisJS 7 series. I got a lot of feedback from you all on my Let’s Learn AdonisJS 6 series, so I’ll use that feedback, along with everything I’ve learned about content creation since, to apply to my Let’s Learn AdonisJS 7 series when the version comes out.

In addition to a new Let's Learn series, I've also heard from many of you that you'd like a crash course for AdonisJS. A single lesson to quickly cover the need-to-knows to get up and running. I've added this to my list, and, subject to planning, it may be released before or in conjunction with our next Let's Learn series.

Note: there isn't a set release date for AdonisJS 7 at this time; however, the current tentative goal, I believe, is for the end of January. That, of course, is subject to change.
